Techstreet appoints new president Martin Collinson

Ann Arbor, MI, January 31, 2023 — Techstreet announced today that Martin Collinson, previously of ASME, has joined the organization as its new president. In his new role, Collinson will report directly to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Klinger of Global Knowledge Solutions (GKS), a for-profit subsidiary of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Collinson most recently served as Managing Director of Sales at ASME for the last two years and has an extensive background as a leader in global sales as well as the standards reseller market. Prior to his time at ASME, he was Vice President of Strategic Accounts at O’Reilly Media.

“This move should be seen as a signal of ASME’s intention to invest in Techstreet to build on the great work done by the Techstreet team over the last two years. Techstreet is already the world’s fastest growing reseller of technical standards and we intend to accelerate that even further by delivering increased value to both the publishers of those standards and the organizations who use them,” says Collinson.

The news of Collinson’s appointment as President of Techstreet comes just two years after the acquisition of Techstreet by ASME.
