Clarivate and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a globally recognized, trusted source of standards used around the world, are excited to announce that the International Society of Interdisciplinary Engineers (ISIE), a new for-profit subsidiary of ASME, has acquired Techstreet.

Both ASME and Techstreet are positioned at the forefront of the standards ecosystem, defining best practices for the industry. Now, these two organizations with complementary strengths and areas of focus will become one family, with Techstreet joining ISIE, ASME’s new for-profit arm. The combined expertise of these two organizations – along with their proprietary technologies and operational knowledge – will create unique value for the standards community.

Clarivate has sold the Techstreet standards management business to the International Society of Interdisciplinary Engineers (ISIE), a new for-profit subsidiary created by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

Clarivate is committed to consistently reviewing our product portfolio to determine where we need to add capabilities and where we have businesses that have better opportunities for growth outside of Clarivate. Upon review, we have determined that the Techstreet standards management business no longer aligns with the strategy and focus of the Clarivate IP Group. We believe that the Techstreet business will thrive under the ownership, guidance, and investment provided by ISIE/ASME.

The Techstreet brand has transferred to ISIE/ASME and the business is now known as Techstreet: an ASME Company.
