WRC is the Welding Research Council, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit scientific research corporation, which brings to bear in the solution of problems in welding and pressure vessel technology the talents of diverse science and engineering specialists. They exchange knowledge, share perspectives, and develop and guide R & D activities. As needed, WRC organizes and manages cooperative programs to advance codes and standards. Also, WRC incorporates the Pressure Vessel Research Council (PVRC) and Materials Properties Council (MPC).
